These are our ministries – organized programs and activities to fulfill Stony Lane church’s mission and address various needs within the congregation and the wider community.
personal or business prayer
We pray in a group every Wednesday evening at 6:30 before our midweek bible study. We tend to share requests and pray for about 45 minutes. It is a special time. We believe the power of prayer grows significantly when more people pray together. Let us pray for you.

men’s ministry
Men’s Prayer Breakfast takes place on the 1st Saturday of the month at 8:00 am.
women’s Ministry
Rooted in Christ is our Women’s Ministry. Our primary focus is to encourage spiritual growth and help meet the unique spiritual needs of women. We offer discipleship, counseling, prayer, bible study and quarterly special events. Colossians 2:7 “…continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”
Upcoming Events: Rooted in Christ Retreat
The date is October 30th to November 1st 2026. The location is St. Edmond’s Retreat Center on beautiful Ender’s Island, Mystic, CT. Please see the info on the sign up table for the cost and other details. Currently, the retreat is open to our church family only, due to limited space and the desire to connect and form closer relationships.
YOUNG ADULTS
Young Adult Ministry is for ages 18 to 30. We meet every 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month at 5:00 pm.
Meetings include food, bible study, discussion, fellowship and special outings.
